I've been going crazy for these sweet birdy toppers I keep seeing on other blogs, so I thought I'd investigate and here are some things I've come up with. Most of my favorites come from Etsy, of course. These rustic accessories above are made by
Bragging Bags. Those two are actually cupcake toppers, but there are some similar ones that are larger and say "We Do" which are also nice. I just like how clean and simple they look.
I love these two love birds by
Strawberries and Cream, but they are a little more costly. Still, they are better priced than most in this style. I guess handcrafted love birds are popular!
These wooden toys from
Star House are cute, and you can play with them later! Lol, might make for sweet kiddy toys when those days finally come around, but now I may be thinking too far ahead;p
Here are some beautiful ones by
Middleburg Folk Art Studio. I was into the birds to start with, but the one at bottom left with the bunnies has stolen my heart, since I've always had a love for rabbits. These ones are all pretty expensive, though, and compared to everything else in the wedding, a cake topper does not seem like a priority for spending quite so much money on.
These from
Primitive Season are cute and about $10.
These cupcake toppers by
GiftsDefine are so adorable and, from what I can remember, pretty affordable, too, I think. They would be perfect on top of the red velvet groom's cupcakes that my very sweet Aunt Terry is making for us.
These figurines were some simpler ones I found. The birds above are by
Hollymark After Dark. Country Squirrels-R-Us
I don't know why I find these spoons by
Jessica N Designs to be so charming, but crossed like this, I feel like they would be so pretty on a cake...or even a fork and a spoon would be cute. Is it weird to put silverware on top of a wedding cake?
