Some Thoughts

This is such a pretty picture that I saved to Dad's computer months ago and have no recollection of where I found it...so, I'm sorry whoever I stole this from! Basically, this reminds me of the blackberry pie I made for father's day last year with the wild blackberries my little cousins and I picked in our aunt's field. I would LOVE for them to be ripe again before our wedding so I could make another or 2 (or 3)!

So, here are some more lovely finds I've come across in tonight's enjoyable (and much deserved) meanderings through wedding blog world:

 

The little diy rose-covered cake decoration made my heart just thumpety-thump! Obviously this would be very time-consuming on a cake that is not that small, but maybe I can convince my most-likely-to-be-extremely-busy-and-hopefully-not-too-stressed-out Mama to make us a little personal carrot cake to cut into, so that I can have a taste of my favorite desert in the world on our big day. The matching bouquet flower on the right made just too perfect a pair not to post. It also is a unique idea, though my version would probably be light pink. Both of these and those following are from One Lovely Day, though most likely several entries back, because I've pretty much stalked the entire history of that blog, lol. Here's more:

I'm considering that flower as one for my bouquet if I decide I want to buy from a florist.
